Frequently Asked Questions

What are we likely to catch?
We target a variety of estuary based species using both bait and lures with the most common
species being Whiting, Bream and Flathead

Where will be fishing?
We will be fishing in the Northern Pumicestone Passage between Caloundra/Golden Beach and down towards the Roys Road area and exact spots depend on the tides and conditions

What if the forecast is windy/rainy for my booked date?
As we will be fishing in calm waters the majority of the Northern Pumicestone Passage is protected from the wind, however if the wind forecast is over 20 knots (37km/hour) or the forecast is for heavy rain (20mm or above) a full refund will be give or the option to reschedule to the next available date

Where do we leave from?
The boat ramp at 1 Lamerough Parade Golden Beach next to the Power Boat Club

Can we bring our own fishing gear?
Yes you can bring your own fishing gear, just let us know prior to your charter you want to use your own gear and we can rig any rod you bring to suit the fishing we will do though we do provide all fishing rods, reels, terminal tackle and lures specifically chosen and set up for the Pumicestone Passage

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes you can bring any food and drinks you like, however to keep the deck clear for fishing a carry bag or backpack is preferred with all ice boxes/eskies having to remain ashore

Is there a toilet onboard?
No we do not have a toilet onboard however there are a number of toilet facilities located along the Pumicestone Passage including at the boat ramp departure point we can stop in at if required
